Stephanie Abrahams

Stephanie Abrahams is a journalist based in New York City whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Forbes, The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Village Voice. Stephanie is also the author of three books for young adults, including Wakeboarding: Techniques and Tricks. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and received a master’s degree from Columbia University.

Eric Cooperman

Eric Cooperman is currently a Vice President at Capital Dynamics, a private equity fund-of-funds, in London. Eric has volunteered with several international education initiatives including La Gloria English school in Isla Mujeres, Mexico and Asociación Señor de Huanca in Cusco, Peru. He received an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in 2009 and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004.

Justin Heyman

Justin Heyman received an MBA in 2010 from Columbia Business School. Formerly, he was an Associate with Oliver Wyman, a management consulting firm located in New York. Justin has experience advising global non-profit organizations, as well as experience working as a Volunteer Consultant with TechnoServe (www.TechnoServe.org) in Rwanda and Tanzania. Justin graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004.

Maria Skouras

Maria Skouras is the Senior Policy Analyst in New York University’s Office of Government & Community Affairs. Maria has traveled extensively and volunteered for a number of national and international service projects, including post-hurricane Katrina reconstruction in New Orleans and community development in Jamaica. Maria holds an M.A. in Humanities and Social Thought with a focus on Cultural Sociology and an M.S. in Global Affairs, Human Rights from NYU. Maria graduated magna cum laude from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individual Study in 2004.

Raisa Patron

Raisa E. Patron is an associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in New York City. She received her J.D. in 2008 from the George Washington University Law School, where she was Managing Editor of the George Washington International Law Review. Raisa graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004.

Tonette Palencia

Tonette is an associate at Citi in the Institutional Clients Group, focusing on Transaction Services for the Public Sector, specifically supranational organizations, non-profits and higher education institutions. Previously, she worked for the Latin America team, which covered all industry segments within the region. Tonette graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006.

Amit Kooner

Amit Kooner is a Marketing Analytics Consultant at the advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather. He graduated with a degree in Molecular Biology from Tulane University in 2005, and MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester in 2009, and has been working towards a Strategy and Marketing degree at NYU since January 2010.
