The Posterus Foundation is a New York based non-profit that raises funds for social and economic development initiatives in emerging communities around the world.
We are all volunteers brought together by one idea: We know that changing the world can happen one project at a time. We believe that in order to build the future, we can start with a schoolhouse in the Congo or a media center in Paraguay. - Fundraising events While you can donate directly through our website, we believe that there is more to fundraising than collecting money. You can make a difference and have fun, too! Joining The Posterus Foundation means joining a dynamic group of individuals. At our events, you can meet other young professionals who are committed to making social and economic changes worldwide.
- Education We realize that knowledge is power. The first step to helping those in need is learning what issues are most pressing.

HOW DO WE CHOOSE WHAT PROJECTS RECEIVE DONATIONS?
We correspond with established organizations in developing countries. Each organization presents us with a detailed proposal for a specific project they are hoping to accomplish— building classrooms, expanding a library, providing the tools for a vocational school. We evaluate each proposal, including the project’s timeline and socioeconomic goals. We don’t influence the project’s operations once we have committed funds but hold the organization accountable to its proposal. We always consider new recipient organizations. Please contact us with any suggestions! We believe that your future is often determined by the country where you were born and the family you were born into. Since we have been blessed, we feel we have an obligation to help others reach their greatest potential. We are asking you to join our effort to Build the Future—one project at a time. Until we can stop every war and cure every patient, we think the best way to help those in developing countries is giving them the tools to live a long, healthy life with the best education possible. Posterus means “Future” in Latin. We have made a commitment to invest in the future. Of course! We don’t have all the answers to the problems facing those in developing countries. But we do believe that we can start by asking important questions: How do we give people the best education possible? How can we enable local businesses to grow? How to we ensure people have access to adequate medical care?
