Posterus > LAUNCH PARTY RAISES OVER $8,500

The Posterus Launch Party is a huge success! More that 200 people crowded into Gallery Bar on New York’s Lower East Side to support Posterus and learn how we plan to Build the Future. We raised more than $8,500. Now we can begin the process of adding classrooms to a school in Paraguay so that children can study past the sixth grade and help a community in the Democratic Republic of Congo establish an income generating agriculture program to benefit a school for orphans. Many, many thanks to all those who came to the event or donated!

Farm of Hope > FARM OF HOPE LOSES AN ORPHAN

Dear all,

We are deeply touched and pained to inform you of the sudden death of Shukuru Budude, one of our orphan of the Farm of Hope in Kiliba. The 9th old child was sick for about one week and we couldn’t know what was the problem until the medical agent who stays from the Farm noticed that it was typhoid fever. Shururu was doing well in class and was seen as one of the best pupils at the orphan’s school. The funeral and all the arrangements were done today. This obliged us to postponed the excursion that was planned to see the Lake Tanganyika.

Continue to pray for medical assistance for the school.

As a father of these orphans I’m deeply moved by this tragedy.

With love to all of you
Floribert Kazingufu
